OLD TOWN
Walking tour Naples
Naples is a city with a long and particular history. Apparently, Neapolitas seem strange but they are not, they are just different. Follow me on a walking tour of the city to discover what makes Naples a unique city.
History, history of art, food and miracles.
Naples must see: during the tour of the old city, we are going to visit different monuments and walk through the characteristic alleys to live like a local for a day.

Visit un unusual Naples.
If you want to visit the real Naples you have to walk around Rione Sanità and Quartieri Spagnoli. Alley, murals, churches and music.
An Italian writer used to say that Naples goes from zero to ten without passing from one to nine. It is true. Naples is the city of the opposites, a city of contradictions. We will go from saints to Maradona, from churches to ex brothels. Let’s find out together.
Enjoy a walking tour of Naples and lose yourself in its alleys.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Visit the archaeological Naples
The archaeological museum of Naples isn’t the classical museum. In this build, in fact, there are a lot of objects arriving from Pompei and Herculaneum.
Frescos, mosaics and tools which were used daily by the people living in the two cities 2000 years ago. We will talk about mythology, art and daily life in ancient Rome. You will see pottery, jewels and items such as medical tools, cooking pots, and weapons.

An excellent guide with archaeology qualifications
Sara was recommended to us by friends. Communication with her was excellent before the day, and on the day we met her at the main gate, on time and easily. She knows everything about Pompei and “brings the place and people to life” explaining many items that I doubt are covered in the audio guide or large tour groups. Sara has written books about Rome and answered all questions and then added more information. Thank you Sara for a fascinating 3 hours!

Pompeii with Sara
The two of us booked a 2 hour private tour with Sara. First I would say that even though it is possible to explore Pompeii on your own, you would be missing a lot without having some guidance. The logic of the layout, the purpose of the buildings, the graffiti on the walls, the social fabric etc are not things that one can decipher by just looking around. We couldn't imagine having a better guide than Sara! She is funny, engaging, speaks excellent English. Most importantly she is really knowledgeable and passionate not just about Pompeii but the whole Greco - Roman world (she has a degree in archeology). If you want a Hollywood movie script look elsewhere, but if you want an entertaining, immersive history lesson than Sara is the best! Thank you Sara!

A wonderful guide for Pompeii & Ercolano
Sara is a fantastic tour guide who brought us around Pompeii and Ercolano on a private tour. She is extremely knowledgeable about the history, the locations and the story of the places. She pointed out wonderful details - ancient graffiti, political messaging, building elements and so much more. Sara truly is an expect guide. She's friendly, interesting and extremely engaging. On top of all of that, she was extremely helpful and patient when we ran into some delays getting to one of the historic sites. Also an excellent English-speaking guide!

Enthusiastic & expert guide
We thoroughly enjoyed our private two-hour tour of Pompeii with Sara; her knowledge of ancient Pompeii and its people is truly extraordinary. Professional and enthusiastic, Sara provided essential historical context, pointed out dozens of important architectural and design details, and translated obscure Latin graffiti — all while amusing us with historical anecdotes (in fluent English). Sara’s remarkable knowledge of life in ancient Pompeii made the place come alive for us. In fact, we enjoyed this tour so much that we booked a Herculaneum tour with her, as well. Very highly recommended.

A Great Guide...
Sara is relaxed, knowledgeable, and engaging with a charming sense of humor. She could answer any question. Her archaeology background allowed her to give us incredibly detailed answers to our questions about Pompeii and Herculaneum that were also put into context. We didn’t want the tour to end.
