There are several ways to reach Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento and Caserta. You can use a car, yours or a rented one, there are several parking available. Or you can take the train. Caserta can be reached by train from Naples. To Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento with the Circumvesuviana.
Info about luggage
If you have your luggage with you when you are going to Pompeii, Herculaneum or Naples no problem. You will find always a luggage storage. In Pompeii and Herculaneum the storage is close to the ticket office, while in Naples you can find it at the train station.
